Ages 10–15 | 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM For students with 2+ years of flute experience Final performance included. 🎵 Flute Choir Intensive July 6–10, 2026 Ages 10–15 | 2+ Years Experience Required Flute Choir Week is a focused ensemble intensive led personally by Gala Yaroshevsky, Bay Area educator of over two decades and mentor to competition winners and advancing flutists. This is a rare opportunity for young flutists to refine tone, blend, articulation, and ensemble awareness in a structured and inspiring setting. Students will rehearse advanced flute choir repertoire while developing leadership, listening precision, and musical maturity. Who This Week Is For • Flutists ages 10–15 • Minimum 2 years of playing experience • Comfortable reading music • Ready to grow in an ensemble setting What Students Will Work On ✔ Tone production and resonance ✔ Blend and balance within sections ✔ Articulation clarity ✔ Ensemble communication ✔ Musical phrasing and interpretation ✔ Stage presence and performance confidence Daily schedule includes ensemble rehearsal, sectional work, music study, and performance preparation. The week culminates in a final showcase performance. This program is selective and designed for students serious about growing as musicians — in a supportive, high-level environment.
